Manager - Application Transformation Delivery

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager - Application Transformation Delivery based in India.

This role provides leadership for application modernization and transformation initiatives within a growing technology delivery organization.
You will lead India-based analysts and developers, ensuring effective workload management and consistently high-quality execution across multiple initiatives.
The position combines people leadership, technical understanding, portfolio insight, and strategic collaboration across global teams.
You will help assess application health, identify modernization opportunities, and guide teams through evolving cloud, digital transformation, and AI capabilities.
Working closely with business and technology leaders, you will align delivery with strategic priorities and promote scalable transformation practices.
The role also offers an opportunity to strengthen standards, expand transformation capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across a global application portfolio.

• Lead India-based resources supporting application modernization and transformation priorities, ensuring strong execution and high-quality delivery.
• Manage work assignments, prioritize activities, balance workloads, and support future team expansion as program requirements evolve.
• Provide leadership and guidance to analysts and developers across multiple modernization and transformation workstreams.
• Develop and communicate clear insights into portfolio health, application performance, modernization opportunities, and lifecycle considerations.
• Apply strong knowledge of cloud technologies, modern application architectures, digital transformation practices, and emerging AI capabilities to support transformation initiatives.
• Partner with India-based technology teams to identify future transformation opportunities and expand awareness and adoption of modernization capabilities.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional stakeholders to align application transformation activities with broader digital priorities.
• Promote standardization, best practices, repeatable delivery approaches, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Support consistent, scalable, and high-quality delivery practices across the application portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with business and technology leaders to understand priorities, communicate progress, and support adoption of transformation solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application modernization, digital transformation, enterprise technology delivery, or a related area.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical or cross-functional teams, preferably within a global delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, modern application architectures, and digital transformation concepts.
• Knowledge of application modernization approaches such as refactoring, re-platforming, and process digitization.
• Familiarity with emerging AI capabilities and their potential applications within enterprise technology and modernization initiatives.
• Ability to assess complex application portfolios and provide insights into application health, lifecycle, performance, and modernization opportunities.
• Proven ability to lead delivery teams, allocate workloads, prioritize competing activities, and coordinate multiple workstreams in fast-moving environments.
• Strong ability to establish standards, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience collaborating effectively with global, cross-functional, business, and technology stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical considerations into clear business and delivery priorities.
• Ability to operate with substantial knowledge of enterprise projects, programs, and technology environments while supporting strategic transformation objectives.
