MAINTENANCE - MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Hours are as follows: Friday 5AM - 5:30PM, Saturday 5AM - 5:30PM, Sunday 5AM - 5:30PM, Monday 6AM - 10AM
Overall Goal of Position:
Responsible for keeping a variety of machines, appliances, and mechanical systems operating safely and efficiently.
Job Summary
A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to get worse. A Maintenance Mechanic will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge and proper use of tools; a wide range of knowledge with power tools and hand tools
Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and or electrical trouble shooting
Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints.
Knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, chains, pumps, and agitator systems
Assist in other mechanical duties as required.
Complete any and all tasks given by department management.
Complete any and all documentation associated with the task given.
Knowledge and proper techniques for Preventive Maintenance task

Must be willing and able to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, kneel, and reach.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
Must demonstrate excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.

Willing to learn the process from the ground up and able to work in a team environment.
Excellent Organizational and documentation skills
Outgoing personality and good customer service skills
Must be able to work well without supervision and within a team environment
Display a positive and strong work ethic
Flexible schedule with overtime
Must be able to respond to after-hours calls for breakdowns when needed
