We are currently recruiting a Full Time LPN position available at McConnell & Associate's OB/GYN located in Wynnewood, PA.

Office Hours Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professional engages Axia Women's Health patients either directly or by telephone, assisting with patient triage, recording critical patient information, and providing information to patients so that they may fully benefit from our clinical services.

Essential Functions:

• Utilizes established triage protocols and guidelines to evaluate and assess patient's/caller's health care needs based on signs, symptoms, complaints, and lab results.
• Obtains appropriate input and direction from care center RNs or clinicians, as needed, to determine and recommend the best clinical course of action for specific patient's/caller's health care.
• Accurately documents patient's/caller's signs, symptoms, complaints, nursing assessments, provided advice, and responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Pulls labs and imaging results, adds them to the EMR, and consults with physicians or RNs regarding test results as needed.
• Assists with medication refill requests following clinician-approved protocols and under appropriate supervision.
• Performs phlebotomy
• Provides patient education on prescribed follow-ups, medications, and therapies, and reinforces clinician-directed instructions.
• Assists, as needed, with phone triage under RN or clinician supervision.

• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and travel to satellite locations, as needed.

Experience and Education:

• Degree from an accredited LPN program
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a LPN
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
• Knowledge of CPT coding, and lab specific order sets are beneficial.
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience is a plus.

Pay or shift range: $25 to $32/hour

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
