About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the HRIS Transition & Termination team, you will build the systems that power every employee change at Rippling — promotions, transfers, terminations, and bulk restructures across companies with tens of thousands of employees. As Rippling moves up-market to larger Enterprise customers, our team sits at the center of the hardest problems: temporal products, conflict resolution across concurrent changes, and AI-driven workflows that replace static forms with a conversational experience. You'll own projects end-to-end — from designing a "stackable changes" engine that lets enterprises schedule overlapping transitions without data loss, to building the APIs that let large customers run headless HRIS operations programmatically.
