Gurnee – Tower Court Internal Medicine
- Opportunity: Established practice with two physician retirements creating a strong need for a new internist. An APP is also being recruited.
- Patient Panel: Immediate access to an inherited patient base with opportunities to grow through new patients.
- Physician Team: Join a group of 6 experienced internal medicine physicians.
- Schedule: Preferred 4.5-day workweek with 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours (can be completed remotely). Potential for a 4-day schedule after guarantee period.
- Clinic Hours: Flexible schedule within clinic hours of 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Compensation: Illinois location with Wisconsin compensation structure, $342,390
- Patient Volume: Flexible pace with scheduled breaks built into the day. Typical volume of 15 to 22 patients daily supports guarantee expectations.
- Call: Light call burden with 1:6 weekend rotation. Nurse triage resolves approximately 95% of after-hours calls.
- On-Site Services: Radiology, ultrasound, physical therapy, cardiology, and orthopedic specialty support available on site.
- Support Staff: Dedicated MA for each physician plus additional flex MAs; collaborative nursing team provides triage and inbox support.
- APP Support: Incoming APP will manage an independent panel and assist with acute visits and transitional care.
- Patient Population: Diverse adult panel (18+) with a mix of younger and Medicare-age patients. Spanish-speaking skills are welcomed but not required.
- Additional Advantage: Wisconsin licensure is beneficial for expanded virtual care opportunities.
