THE WORK:
- You’ll plan, develop, and implement electric and gas utility projects that vary in size and complexity.
- You’ll define and maintain project parameters, managing activities from inception to completion.
- You’ll oversee project deliverables, including scope, schedule, budget, design, procurement, and construction.
- You’ll ensure scope completion and adherence to project schedules and timelines.
- You’ll manage project budgets and optimize the use of available funds.
- You’ll oversee contractor selection and contract preparation.
- You’ll ensure design and construction quality, maintaining compliance with project scope and budget.
- You’ll develop uniform standards for project delivery and reporting frameworks.
- You’ll coordinate material procurement and contracting strategies.
- You’ll conduct monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial management controls.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience with client approval)
- 3–5 years of project management experience in construction projects (Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects)
- PM I: 3-5 years of direct project management experience with customer driven utility projects.
- PM II: 5-6+ years of direct project management experience with customer driven utility projects.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- PMP certification or Agile/Program Management training
- PE license
- Experience assessing financial impacts of projects and building solid business cases
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
