Industrial Janitor & Grounds Maintenance Worker
Teems Fabrication Inc. is seeking a hardworking and dependable Industrial Janitor & Grounds Maintenance Worker to help keep our facility clean, sanitary, safe, and well-maintained inside and out. This role supports the warehouse and grounds through janitorial work, waste handling, forklift operation, and routine property maintenance in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Sweep, mop, and power-scrub warehouse floors, walkways, and breakrooms.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms daily.
• Wash interior and exterior windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Respond promptly to spills using appropriate safety gear and disposal methods.
• Collect and empty warehouse, office, and outdoor trash and recycling bins.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport heavy waste containers, pallets, and industrial items.
• Assist with moving materials, equipment, or pallets as needed to keep work areas clear.
• Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
• Clear outdoor walkways and parking areas of litter, debris, and leaves.
Grounds & Lawn Maintenance
Qualifications
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, warehouse maintenance, or groundskeeping preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred, or ability to complete company-sponsored training upon hire.
• Familiarity with lawn equipment and industrial cleaning supplies preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Safety-minded approach to chemical use, lifting, forklift operation, and warehouse work.
Location & Requirements
• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with seasonal heat and cold.
• Must be willing to work outdoors regularly for groundskeeping duties.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry heavy objects up to 50+ lbs. during a shift.
