In Home Caregiver

Seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver in the Mineral Point, WI area to offer supportive care for a young adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while ensuring a safe, structured environment at home and in the community.

• $16.32/hourly

• Opportunity to receive a $500 bonus

• Flexible schedule to be officially determined between member and provider.

• Up to three weekdays per week (depending on your availability): 8:00am-4:00pm

• Occasional Saturday nights (hours vary)

• Care would be provided in client’s home -or out in the community. Community outings are encouraged.

• Ensure safety of client while under your supervision. Actively monitor seizures, remove any harmful objects, and time duration.

• Support the client during postictal period by providing comfort and re-orientation.

• Track medications and ensure member is on schedule.

• Assist with daily activities, including personal care and meal prep, while promoting independence.

• Assist client in the community.

• Must pass background check.

• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

• Previous experience working with seizures preferred.

• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
