As our General Manager, you'll lead the charge in ensuring Zoku runs like a well-oiled machine. With a strong focus on creating unforgettable guest experiences and nurturing team engagement, you’ll oversee operations with a hands-on, data-driven & commercial approach that ensures results.

Reporting to the operations director, you'll be the driving force behind Zoku’s unique value proposition, optimizing lean processes and coaching the local team to achieve excellence. Leading by example, you’ll inspire consistency, professionalism, and enthusiasm at every turn.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No two days look the same as a General Manager … but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect :

Own the business: You take full ownership of the property's performance and P&L., forecasting, budgeting, payroll, productivity, cost control and commercial opportunities are not simply reports you review, but tools you actively use to drive results. You know your numbers and, more importantly, you know what actions they require.

Create exceptional guest experience: At Zoku, hospitality goes beyond rooms. You'll ensure guests, members and local visitors genuinely feel part of our community. Whether through service, atmosphere, events, F&B or thoughtful connections, you'll help create experiences that make people want to return again and again.

Lead and develop future leaders: Your role isn't to solve every operational challenge yourself. It's to create clarity, accountability and trust. You'll coach your team heads, develop talent, empower decision-making and create an environment where people can do their best work while continuing to grow.

Build strong partnerships: You'll maintain professional relationships with ownership and asset management partners, clearly communicating business performance while protecting and enhancing the long-term value of the property. You'll also manage external service partners, ensuring high-quality delivery across areas such as housekeeping and technical maintenance.

Drive operational excellence: You'll ensure the business runs smoothly, efficiently and consistently. From SOP implementation and operational systems to continuous improvement initiatives, you'll keep raising the bar while staying true to the unique Zoku experience.

A FEW MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of experience in a senior hotel leadership role (Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager or equivalent).

• Demonstrated ownership of operational performance and P&L management.

• Strong commercial, analytical and financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.

• Experience managing multidisciplinary hospitality teams.

• Proven ability to balance guest experience, people leadership and commercial performance.

• Fluent French and professional English.

• Valid EU working rights or French work permit.

• Full flexibility regarding working days and hours.
