- Maintain and clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest Fairmont standards, ensuring all spaces are immaculate and welcoming
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest requests, special needs, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Inspect rooms upon completion of cleaning to verify quality standards, attention to detail, and compliance with property specifications
- Manage and organize housekeeping supplies and inventory, reporting low stock levels and maintaining efficient supply usage
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize room assignments and meet daily cleaning schedules
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to supervisory staff immediately for prompt resolution
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in a professional manner, maintaining discretion and confidentiality
- Assist with special projects, deep cleaning initiatives, and seasonal maintenance tasks as assigned
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction
**Required Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or guest service experience in a hospitality setting
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety protocols
