Full Time - Facilities Coordinator

Job Summary The Facilities Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Facilities, supports the day-to-day and long-term management of facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position assists with preventive maintenance planning, access control, asset management, and departmental projects, while coordinating with vendors. The Coordinator of Facilities Operations collaborates with internal and external partners to uphold high standards of safety, efficiency, and building care, leveraging strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of student development to foster vibrant, supportive communities that promote learning and holistic growth. Principal Accountabilities Monitor’s the computerized maintenance management system for work orders and assigned them as appropriate. Oversees the daily operations of shipping/receiving/courier staff. Coordinates the scheduling and access for routine service vendors such as elevator service, pest control service, etc… Coordinates and schedules annual inspections such as fume hood inspections, fire alarm inspections, fire extinguisher inspections, fire extinguisher inspections, Won door inspections, etc… Coordinates vendor sign-in and access to facilities. Coordinates purchase requests, purchase orders, purchase card use, and invoicing review for all budgets assigned to the Director, Facilities. Provide front-desk service for the campus facilities maintenance department. Coordinates building schedules, services, and access requirements of internal and external stakeholders with Facilities, Planning, and Construction department and service vendors. Coordinates the issuance of physical keys and access control cards/fobs. Provides assistance to the Facilities Digital Systems Manager in the scheduling of the Access Control System and Building Automation System. Other duties as assigned
