We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Revenue Debt Management team as Finance Support Officers. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in finance while supporting accounts receivable activities that contribute to the financial sustainability of government agencies and the delivery of essential services across NSW. The role is responsible for the timely, accurate and consistent completion of financial transaction processing and accounts receivable activities, ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with relevant legislation, policy and procedures. About the Role As a Finance Support Officer – Revenue Debt Management, you will: Undertake accounts receivable processing activities in accordance with standard operating procedures. Analyse customer accounts, invoices and supporting documentation to ensure the accurate processing and management of receivables. Monitor and action accounts receivable requests in accordance with service level agreements. Provide accurate and timely advice to customers, stakeholders and internal staff on accounts receivable processes. Liaise with customers and stakeholders regarding account enquiries, discrepancies and outstanding matters. Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and documentation. Support testing of system enhancements and upgrades within financial and corporate systems. Contribute to a high-performing team focused on customer service, compliance and continuous improvement. About You You will be someone who: Has experience in accounts receivable, finance administration, customer service or a similar finance environment. Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills. Can confidently manage customer enquiries and resolve account-related issues. Has the ability to analyse information and make sound decisions within established policies and procedures. Is organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities. Works collaboratively and contributes positively to team outcomes. Is comfortable using financial systems and technology to achieve business results.
