Finance Specialist - CFO Services

- 2-5 years of experience in Finance roles such as GL accountant, R2R / P2P specialist or financial controller.
- Ability to navigate financials through the key controlling and finance reports (e.g.: BS, P&L, CF tables), particularly in the context of banking financials and regulatory reporting.
- Good level of understanding of the financial close, consolidation and reporting processes
- Good understanding of controlling functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and profitability analysis at various levels (branch, product, customer). Ability to perform variance analysis and provide insights on deviations from budget/forecast.
- Excellent data analytics skills, ability to work with databases and BI tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in engaging with senior management.
- Fluency in both English and Hungarian is required.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
It is an advantage if you have
- Deeper experience and understanding with a specific business area or industry, such as with controlling or FP&A at Financial Institutions or plant controlling roles at manufacturing companies.
- Financial project management experience, especially in financial institute-related projects. Certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are a plus.
- Experience with system implementation from a finance SME perspective.
- Participated already in Continuous Improvement or BPR projects/initiatives.
- Big 4 consulting experience with financial institute clients.
- Finance qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience with platforms such as Core Banking Systems, SAP, BlackLine, Power BI, or consolidation/planning solutions.
