Your responsibilities

In this role, you will combine Controlling, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and digitalization. You will develop data-driven solutions, optimize existing Finance processes, and leverage new technologies such as AI, automation, and Microsoft Copilot within our Controlling environment. You will work closely with the Local Division Controllers and other stakeholders, with the opportunity to actively develop existing structures and drive new solutions forward.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Development and further development of Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI systems, and self-service reporting solutions
• Analysis, preparation, and integration of financial, production, and business data from SAP, Salesforce, and other systems
• Support for forecasting, budget planning, monthly reporting, variance analysis, and management decision-making
• Digitalization and automation of finance and controlling processes with modern tools, AI, and Microsoft Copilot
• Identification of trends, cost drivers, data quality improvements, and optimization potential, as well as implementation of own improvement ideas

Qualifications for the role

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field of study
• Experience in controlling and good understanding of finance processes, ideally with SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Power BI as well as experience with Power Query, DAX, and data-driven reporting
• Interest in AI, automation, and digitalization, e.g., with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or comparable solutions
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style with enthusiasm for preparing complex issues in an understandable manner
• High initiative, continuous improvement orientation, and openness to critically question existing processes and develop new solutions
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Advantageous: knowledge of GitHub, Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and/or Azure, as well as initial experience with Machine Learning
