FB Sales Manager
The Food & Beverage Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and business growth for the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets and events by developing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue from restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, and other F&B services.
The position works closely with the F&B, Sales & Marketing, Events, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved while maintaining the Pullman brand experience and high standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Develop and implement F&B sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for restaurants, bars, banquets, meetings, events, and catering.
- Drive corporate, social, wedding, MICE, and community/event business.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly monitor business opportunities.
- Maximize revenue through upselling, cross-selling, promotions, packages, and special events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and business opportunities.
2. Business Development & Client Relationship
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, travel agents, government institutions, wedding organizers, and other key accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, site inspections, and business meetings.
- Identify potential accounts and establish long-term partnerships.
- Follow up on inquiries, proposals, quotations, contracts, and business leads in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of client activities, opportunities, and sales performance.
3. F&B Promotion & Marketing
- Collaborate with the Marketing and F&B teams to develop effective promotions, campaigns, and packages.
- Support the planning and execution of F&B promotional activities and special events.
- Explore digital, social media, partnership, and community channels to generate F&B business.
- Ensure all promotional activities are aligned with Pullman brand standards and commercial objectives.
4. Event & Banquet Sales
- Drive sales for meetings, conferences, social events, weddings, corporate functions, and other F&B events.
- Coordinate with the Events, Banquet, and F&B Operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Conduct site inspections and presentations for prospective clients.
- Ensure client requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to the operational teams.
- Follow up with clients after events to obtain feedback and identify repeat-business opportunities.
5. Sales Planning & Reporting
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, action plans, and performance reports.
- Monitor achievement against F&B sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Maintain an updated sales database and pipeline.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor information to management.
6. Teamwork & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with F&B Operations, Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, and other departments.
- Ensure effective communication of client requirements and commercial commitments.
- Participate in hotel commercial meetings and relevant sales activities.
- Support other hotel sales initiatives when required.
7. Guest & Customer Experience
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout the sales process.
- Handle client concerns and coordinate appropriate solutions with relevant departments.
- Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Represent Pullman Jakarta professionally to clients, partners, and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in F&B Sales, Hotel Sales, Catering Sales, Events, or a similar commercial role.
- Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of F&B, banquet, MICE, and event sales.
- Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong customer relationship management and networking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant hotel sales systems/CRM platforms.
