Job Description

As our Expansion and Footprint Manager, you'll help drive the growth of LEGO® Retail by developing business cases for new stores, relocations, refurbishments, and store closures. You'll support strategic engagements through analysis, insight generation, and presentation development that helps inspire change across the organisation.

Working across retail operations, design, construction, real estate, and finance, you'll help create a robust and coherent approach to market and channel expansion while improving tools and processes that increase efficiency and alignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated outstanding quantitative and analytical skills to extract insights and conclusions from complex business problems.
  • Built executive-level presentations and structured quantitative analysis for decision-making audiences.
  • Developed experience within retail, consumer packaged goods, or management consulting environments.
  • Delivered cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams and functions to drive alignment.
  • Maintained high standards of data integrity across business analysis and reporting activities.
  • Managed project objectives while translating abstract ideas into clear and actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Developed retail strategy with a focus on offline expansion.
  • Delivered project or programme management initiatives.

What you'll build

  • Business cases for new stores, relocations, refurbishments, and store closures to support investment decisions.
  • Strategic analysis and recommendations that help shape retail expansion priorities.
  • Tools and processes that improve efficiency and create a single source of truth.
  • Partnerships across retail operations, design, construction, real estate, and finance functions.
  • Presentations and recommendations for audiences ranging from business partners to senior executives.

If you've worked in a role where you developed retail/product expansion business cases, presented investment recommendations, or supported strategic growth decisions, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to turn complex information into clear insight and help others make confident decisions.

Life on the team

You'll join the Retail Development team, supporting a key part of the LEGO® Group's growth strategy. This is a team that works closely with a broad range of functions to align priorities and create consistency across decisions and data. You'll thrive if you take initiative, recognise opportunities for improvement, contribute strongly within a team setting, and enjoy working collaboratively to solve business challenges.

What success looks like

Success means helping the organisation make well-informed investment decisions through robust store business cases and clear strategic recommendations. You'll build strong partnerships across retail operations, design, construction, real estate, and finance while helping improve the tools and processes that support growth. As store expansion and portfolio development continue to play a key role in the plan 2030 strategy, your work will help create a stronger foundation for future growth.
