Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to join our esteemed team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. This position is offering the opportunity to lead and manage all housekeeping and laundry operations for our luxury resort property. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across all areas of the establishment, whilst leading and developing a dedicated housekeeping team.

• Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping and laundry team, providing guidance on cleaning protocols, hygiene standards, and guest service excellence
• Oversee and manage all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional standards across the resort
• • Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with established cleaning and safety standards
• Manage housekeeping and laundry inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and stock control
• Develop and implement customised cleaning schedules and procedures tailored to the resort's requirements
• Coordinate with other departments, including front office, maintenance, and guest services, to ensure seamless operations
• Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, taking corrective action to ensure satisfaction
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality
• Maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and departmental activities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all housekeeping operations
• Identify training needs and conduct induction programmes for new team members

• Previous experience in a senior Housekeeping leadership role, ideally as a Director of Housekeeping or Executive Housekeeper within a luxury or five-star hotel.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing a large, multicultural team.
• Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping operations, quality standards and guest expectations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning protocols, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations
• A hands-on leadership style with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time-keeping abilities with strong attention to detail
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle challenging situations professionally
• Proficiency in property management systems and housekeeping software
• Previous experience with an international luxury hotel brand would be an advantage
• Island experience is highly desirable
• Experience working in luxury hospitality environments
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a diverse, international setting
• Multilingual capabilities (desirable)
