[EPM] AI Engineer (1 year Contractor)

This position will be contracted through Bosch’s external vendor under a one-year agreement.

Bosch Engineering Process, Methods & Tools (MS/EPM-XC) is a key enabler of engineering excellence and AI transformation within Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC). Our mission is to improve engineering productivity through innovative processes, tools, automation, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions.

Together with global XC organizations, we develop and operate engineering platforms, automation frameworks, DevOps solutions, data analytics systems, and Generative AI applications that help engineers deliver high-quality software faster and more efficiently.

As part of our AI Transformation journey, we leverage GenAI, intelligent agents, and advanced software engineering practices to drive the future of AI-assisted engineering across Bosch XC.

As an AI Engineer, your typical work activities include:

• Developing AI-powered tools and applications for engineering use cases.
• Building and integrating GenAI and AI agent solutions.
• Working with data pipelines, analytics, and machine learning workflows.
• Supporting AI model deployment and evaluation.
• Collaborating with global teams to improve engineering productivity.
• Contributing to software development, testing, and automation activities.
• Learning and applying the latest AI, cloud, and DevOps technologies.

The job might be fit for you if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or modern AI application development.
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI-compatible APIs, or similar ecosystems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, container technologies, and modern development practices.
• Understanding of data processing, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI application lifecycle.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, and collaborative software development workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
• Passion for learning emerging technologies and applying AI to solve real-world engineering challenges.
• Good English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building AI copilots, AI agents, chatbots, or workflow automation solutions.
• Familiarity with any of cloud platform like Azure AI, AWS, Google Cloud, or enterprise AI platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps, MLOps, LLMOps, or software quality engineering practices.
• Contributions to personal projects, open-source initiatives, hackathons, or AI communities.
