Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing operations.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:- Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Identify plumbing and safety problems and take necessary corrective action.
- Maintain grease traps and sewage ejector pits to prevent waste line blockages.
- Maintain standpipe and sprinkler systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and use of all techniques for the trade.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Knowledge of sanitary codes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- From entry-level to two years relevant experience preferred.
- High school education or equivalent. Trade apprenticeship preferred.
