Embedded Linux Software Engineer – R&D
Permanent hybrid role based in Carrigtwohill, Cork

What you will do:
- Develop applications and libraries in C/C++
- Develop user interfaces using Qt
- Enable communication between embedded devices
- Support hardware-software integration and system-level debugging
- Test and troubleshoot deployed applications
Key Skills:
- C/C++
- QT / QML
- Linux
- GDB, Git, Bash, Shell, Python, CMake
- hardware-communication protocols and interfaces including TCP/IP and USB
- hardware-software integration
- Familiarity with low-level embedded systems, Yocto Project and IEC 62304 an advantage!
What you need:
- Must have a minimum of a Degree (level 8) in a suitable subject (e.g. Computer Science / Software Engineering) or equivalent technical background
- An infectious enthusiasm for problem solving and doing work that makes a real difference

Ireland Pay Ranges:
- Ireland: €51,000 - €86,000 EUR Annual
