Electrical Maintenance Technician

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic skilled Electrical Technician to work as part of a small team to support the smooth running of the factory and its operations.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

Perform mechanical skills to diagnose faults and repairs and adjust where necessary.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service plans.

Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.

Use initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support.

Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineering experience within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment

18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations or equivalent

Minimum of NVQ L2 electrical qualifications (ideally NVQ L3) or equivalent

Fault finding, Mechanical and Electrical

Experience working on 3-phase electrical equipment
