Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (Chemical Plant)

Position: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, instruments, and plant utilities.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
- Perform calibration of instruments and maintain calibration records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, statutory, and electrical standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
- Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and QA departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Maintain maintenance logs, SOPs, and documentation.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience: 6-8 years in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industry.
Skills:
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial instrumentation.
- Familiarity with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of electrical safety and GMP documentation.
