Dutch Language Teacher in Antwerp, Belgium

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Dutch (NT2) Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Antwerp.

• Student: 1 adult (male) who's recently relocated to Belgium

• Location: Lessons are to be held at or near the student's home in Sint-Paulusplaats, Antwerp (teacher can suggest a place)

• Preferred start date: ASAP

Details

• Availability: Afternoons (starting at 17:00), any weekday

• Lesson Frequency: 3x per week, 1-hour lessons

• Current language level: Beginner

• Native and other spoken languages: Italian (native), English

• Student's language needs and goals: Communicating with his work team in Dutch

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• To have a native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Dutch

• To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field

• To have a minimum of two years of Dutch teaching experience
