Director of Sales and Marketing
The Director of Sales and Marketing will drive revenue and build the trade relationships that fill one of the Caribbean's most storied independent resorts - sales-led, with everything else following from that.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial strategy: The annual sales and revenue plan, market mix targets, rate strategy, occupancy goals by segment and season.
Trade engagement: Sales trips to the US and UK, Relais & Châteaux roadshows, travel advisors hosted on property, and CB kept front of mind with the top-producing agencies in the key feeder markets.
New guest acquisition: Develop and execute a targeted strategy for reaching and converting the affluent 40-50s couples and multi-generational family segments identified as the primary growth audience.
Returning guest relationship: Protect and deepen the 65% return rate with the same rigour you apply to acquisition. Design the communication touchpoints - pre-arrival, on-property, post-stay - that make returning guests feel known. Work with the Head of Reservations to align guest communication with the brand's tone.
Partner management: Day-to-day lead for marketing, US Sales, UK Sales and Relais & Châteaux GSO.
7+ years’ experience in luxury hospitality sales and have established relationships with top travel agencies in the US and UK.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, sales or marketing; MBA preferred
Exceptional communication, leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and team management skills.
In-depth understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, customer behavior, and regulatory compliance in the industry.
