Digital Solution Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Solution Architect based in India.

This senior role focuses on defining the technology vision and architecture strategy for modern Insurance product platforms. You will shape scalable, configurable, and reusable digital architectures designed to support multiple Insurance carriers across North America. The position combines deep Insurance domain expertise with cloud-native, API, integration, data, and microservices architecture. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Pre-Sales teams to translate architectural strategy into market-ready solutions. The role provides an opportunity to influence product roadmaps while ensuring platforms remain secure, scalable, performant, and adaptable. You will also evaluate emerging technologies and help identify new opportunities for innovation across the product ecosystem.

• Define and maintain the target architecture and long-term technology vision for Insurance product platforms.
• Establish scalable, configurable, reusable, and multi-tenant architecture models that can support multiple Insurance carriers.
• Drive API-first, microservices-based, and cloud-native design principles across product development.
• Own the enterprise integration blueprint and define scalable, repeatable integration patterns.
• Ensure compatibility with common Insurance core systems, partner platforms, and external technology ecosystems.
• Define product-level data model and analytics strategies supporting configurable reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Establish data governance, security, and privacy-by-design principles across solution architectures.
• Define cloud-native architecture patterns across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Establish standards for CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, infrastructure automation, scalability, availability, and performance optimization.
• Support SaaS deployment models and ensure architecture decisions enable reliable product operations at scale.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, GenAI, automation, and event streaming, identifying opportunities to enhance product capabilities.
• Partner with Product Management to shape product roadmaps based on architectural vision and technology strategy.
• Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams with technical positioning, solution architecture discussions, and architecture storytelling.
• Ensure technology direction remains aligned with Insurance market requirements and the evolving needs of customers and partners.

Requirements:

• 18+ years of enterprise technology experience with strong and substantial exposure to the Insurance domain.
• Deep understanding of Insurance processes, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and related business functions.
• Strong expertise in microservices and API-driven architectures, integration patterns, middleware, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Extensive knowledge of data architecture, analytics platforms, data governance, security, and privacy principles.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and experience working with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available, secure, and performance-focused digital platforms.
• Proven experience architecting reusable product platforms rather than focusing solely on individual project implementations.
• Experience working with Insurance product platforms, SaaS solutions, or other configurable and multi-tenant digital products.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, infrastructure automation, and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into practical architectural and product strategies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Pre-Sales teams.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate long-term architectural vision into actionable standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.
