DevOps Engineer (French Speaker) | BPCE-SI

Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer (French Speaker) to join its BPCE SI (Solutions Informatiques) team to work in a hybrid work model at the Porto office.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Cloud Architecture: Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
• Work closely with software development and QA teams to streamline the release cycle and foster a strong DevOps culture.
• Participate in technical discussions, document systems, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders in both French and English.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or SysOps.
• Jenkins Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience configuring, scaling, and maintaining Jenkins (including Jenkins pipelines, shared libraries, and plug-in management).
• Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory (B2 Level). You will be communicating with French-speaking stakeholders and writing documentation in English.
• Cloud Platforms: Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Containers: Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-hosted).
• Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git and Git workflows (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with other CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA, Jenkins Certified Engineer).
• Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in a cloud environment (DevSecOps).
