Dental Assistant | Lumino Greymouth Family | Full Time

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at Lumino Greymouth Dental on a full-time basis.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring patients receive a high standard of care throughout their visit. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:15am - 5:00pm (60-minute lunch break)
• Friday: 8:15am - 4:00pm (60-minute lunch break)

In this role, you will:

• Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments
• Maintain excellent infection control and sterilisation standards
• Support patient flow and help create a positive patient experience
• Manage clinical stock and equipment as required
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred, although training can be provided for the right person
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transport and the ability to commute easily to the practice
• Valid New Zealand working rights
