Overview

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

Responsibilities

This role is a training position for the Shift Electrician on the Paint Line. The Shift Electrician is the technical support lead role on shift. The successful interaction with Operations is a critical part of the Shift Electrician and Day Electrician position.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must have a good understanding of TCOS “Take Control of Safety” and what it means to you.
• Excellent safety and attendance record
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with electrical instruments, hand/power tools
• Training or technical degree in industrial electricity with extensive experience in:
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic controls
• Power transformers and Power Distribution Equipment
• Protection Relays

Preferred:

• Strong electrical aptitude with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
• Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment
• Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance requirements.
