Overview

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

Responsibilities

This role is a technical support lead role. The successful interaction with Operations is a critical part of the Day Electrician position.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must have a good understanding of TCOS “Take Controlof Safety” and what it means to you.• Excellent safety and attendance record• Strong communication skills• Proficient with electrical instruments, hand/power tools• Training or technical degree in industrial electricity withextensive experience in:• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and VariableFrequency Drives (VFD)• Hydraulic & Pneumatic controls• Power transformers and Power Distribution Equipment• Protection Relays

Preferred:

• Strong electrical aptitude with troubleshooting anddiagnostic skills• Know and understand electrical principles and electronics• Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment• Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenancerequirements

Experience working on overhead bridge cranes
