Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Database Generation Intern to support our SDR (Sales Development Representative) team by researching, building, and maintaining high-quality prospect databases. You will play a key role in fueling our outbound campaigns with accurate, well-segmented contact data across our target US verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective companies and decision-makers across target US verticals (healthcare, AI, cybersecurity, enterprise software).
- Build and maintain structured prospect databases and lead lists to support SDR outbound campaigns.
- Source and verify contact details (email, phone, LinkedIn profiles) using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Hunter.io.
- Perform data deduplication and hygiene checks to keep lead workbooks and CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Segment and tag prospect lists by industry, company size, job role, and other ICP (ideal customer profile) criteria.
- Work closely with SDRs to understand campaign targeting needs and turn around data requests quickly.
- Track and report on data coverage, quality, and enrichment metrics.
- Stay current on target industries and companies to flag new prospecting opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field).
- Strong internet research skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, filters, pivot tables).
- Basic understanding of B2B sales and marketing funnel concepts.
- Good written English communication skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to manage repetitive data tasks with consistent accuracy.
Good to Have
- Prior exposure to CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Familiarity with lead-gen/data enrichment tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Clearbit).
- Interest in the technology, healthcare, or enterprise software sectors.
