We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and dependable Cloud Engineer to work on projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade, cloud-native services on hyperscalers such as Alibaba Cloud or Amazon WebServices. Collaborate and contribute to designing scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions. Contribute to the design and implement robust cloud native solutions Understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts for designing and building scalable and resilient modern event and micro-services based systems Stay at the forefront of exploring and learning new technologies/frameworks to continuously enhance expertise. Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to solve complex problems. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and proactively drive issue resolution across teams. Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and mindful of established schedules and scopes, ensuring effective project delivery. Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, fostering positive and open interpersonal relationships. Adapt to working with multi-regional teams across different time zones.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with 5+ years of exposure.
• Knowledge of working with public cloud providers such as AliCloud or AWS or equivalent
• Understanding of networking concepts on Cloud, like VPCs/Subnets, Firewalls and LoadBalancers.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and configuration management systems.
• Knowledge of working with OS environments and good programming skills in Python and scripting
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to continuously assess and improve system reliability, and performance
• Have passion to drive automation to streamline manual processes and enhance productivity across the organization.
• MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent
• Analytical & problem solving skills, ability to communicate ideas clearly
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork.
• Experience with emerging technologies such as Generative AI in a cloud platform context.
• Certifications like Alibaba Cloud Associate or Alibaba Cloud Professional is a plus.
