Carpenter Journeyman

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all new construction, framing and finishing to both inside and outside buildings.
- Performs maintenance on existing buildings, barns, sheds, fences and other structures needing repair.
- Responsible for knowledge of State of Delaware, New Castle County building codes, permits, licensing, and inspection.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Five (5) years experience in carpentry and woodwork.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Experience with hand tools and carpentry power tools.
- Must be able to read and understand blue print reading.
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in extremes of weather, on roofs, ladders and scaffolding.
- Must be able to remain flexible in an environment of constant change.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
