Job Summary:
National tire recycler has an immediate opening. We are seeking an experienced bilingual transportation professional who is ready for a hands-on role overseeing daily dispatch and transportation operations, supporting and directing drivers, solving routing and service issues, and helping keep the operation running safely and efficiently.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-430pm with some flexibility
Requirements:
- Coordinate daily routes, dispatching and driver assignments
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day and help resolve service and routing issues
- Adjust routes and schedules when call-outs, delays or other operational issues occur
- Monitor driver performance, attendance and service levels
- Provide coaching and direction to drivers
- Help maintain compliance with company safety policies and DOT requirements
- Assist with reporting, documentation and follow-up
- Develop toward increased responsibility for the overall transportation operation
- Fluent in Spanish and English communication skills required
- Experience in transportation, dispatching, routing, logistics
- Knowledge of local and regional geography
- Strong organization and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with drivers
- Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus
- Experience with Samsara a plus
