• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other menu items
• Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service to ensure a positive experience for every guest
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours
• Stay updated on new products, promotions, and coffee trends
• Contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
• Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles

• Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly as a barista, is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and willingness to learn new methods
• Passion for coffee and tea
• Basic latte art skills (preferred)
• Knowledge of coffee origins and brewing methods
• Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to work legally in Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent
