We're looking for a Backend QA Engineer (Test Automation) to join our Digital Team, where you'll work alongside developers, business analysts, UX designers, and fellow QA engineers to ensure our digital solutions are reliable, scalable, and built to the highest standards.
✅ What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience in Backend QA, Test Automation, or Software Testing.
- Hands-on experience with backend and API testing, including building automated test suites.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Programming skills in Java or Python, and experience with Playwright or another UI automation framework.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience creating test cases and working with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken English.
⭐ Nice to have
- ISTQB Foundation certification.
- Experience with SQL, Git, Docker, or CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, performance or security testing, and Agile/Scrum environments.
