We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Automation Quality Assurance Tester who can work independently with minimal supervision to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional squads, contribute to test strategy and execution, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices within an Agile environment.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Test Automation

• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts (UI, API and Mobile)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with fellow testers to improve testing tools, methodologies, and services
• Promote best practices in QA and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Quality Assurance & Test Management

• Review and analyse user stories to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability
• Contribute to backlog refinement from a testing and quality perspective
• Collaborate with squads to define test strategies, test plans, and coverage
• Execute test cases and document results in line with audit and compliance requirements
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear and structured documentation
• Provide timely feedback to squads as part of continuous delivery

Collaboration & Delivery Support

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve defects
• Ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Support squads in validating functional and workflow behavior across interconnected systems

Production Support & Release Management

• Support deployment activities and transition of changes into production
• Perform post-release validation and production testing
• Assist in knowledge transfer and training of support teams
• Provide troubleshooting support for issues identified post-deployment

Regulatory responsibilities & risk management

• Demonstrate adherence to organizational values, including integrity, due diligence, and accountability

• Ensure all testing activities meet audit, compliance, and regulatory standards

• Contribute to risk mitigation by identifying defects early and ensuring robust validation processes

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as an Automation Quality Assurance Tester, preferably in financial services; ISTQB or related certifications are advantageous
• Proficiency in Java with experience across all test levels (unit to end-to-end)
• Proven experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) across UI and API tiers on Desktop, WebApp, and Mobile platforms
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and QA practices
• Experience testing both in-house developed and vendor-based applications
• Solid understanding of functional workflows across interconnected systems
• Knowledge of financial messaging standards with domain expertise in Markets & Trading
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, and Oracle SQL; exposure to test management tools like X-ray is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills, self-motivated, collaborative across global teams, with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn continuously
