Associate/Professor of Clinical Psychiatry

Position Summary The Associate/Professor of Clinical Psychiatry is a leadership role seeking a mid-career, senior physician-scholar with interests in teaching, patient care, and research. This position will also serve as Director of the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program which has both inpatient and outpatient components, robust research groups, and excellent teaching opportunities in a major university-based institution. The Director should have administrative experience in leading clinical services involving multidisciplinary teams as well as extensive clinical experience in treating mood/anxiety disorders. Duties Responsibilities Direct the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program. Oversee an interdisciplinary team of clinicians providing both inpatient and outpatient care in the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program. Attending physician on adult inpatient psychiatric unit, consultation-liaison service and in outpatient clinic. Supervise fellows, residents, medical students, other trainees on inpatient, outpatient, and CL services. Serve as on call attending in rotation with other adult attending physicians Teach medical students and residents both on clinical rotations and in didactics. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
