Assistant / Director of Sales (Corporate & MICE)

The Director of Sales is to support the Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales in driving the rooms revenue through management of existing accounts and development of new accounts and key markets.
Primary Responsibilities
To Achieve Rooms Revenue Budget and Individual Goal
- Actively participates in the preparation of the annual Sales and Marketing Plan and Room Revenue Budgets.
- Supports Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales in goals setting.
- Supports Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales to achieve rooms revenue budget and individual goals.
- Reviews and monitors room revenue, room nights and average rate performance of the accounts.
- Reviews groups booking pace in advance to help build base business for the hotel.
- Actively participate in Rooms Revenue Meeting and pricing strategy in corporate segment.
Management of Accounts and Development of New Accounts and Markets
- Drive and grow Corporate & MICE business to achieve the budgeted room revenue, room nights and average rate of the segment.
- Develop key account management strategy and individual accounts activation plan to support & drive room revenue performance and result delivery.
- Actively engages and manages clients through daily sales activities, site inspections and entertainment.
- Participates in Accor Sales Mission, relevant Roadshows and Trade shows and promotional events to foster strong relationship with existing clients and develop new markets by identifying prospective clients.
- Responsible in planning and activation of corporate related events in the hotel.
- Responsible for gaining exposure and inclusion in companies travel program.
Ad-Hoc Projects Champion
- Assists and supports in ad-hoc projects assigned by Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales
- Contributes to the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability efforts.
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum Diploma holder or equivalent.
- Degree holder an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant sales experience in a Luxury Hotel.
- Work experience in a Luxury Hotel in a similar capacity an advantage.
- Oral and written fluency in English.
- Ability to speak other language and basic understanding of local languages an advantage.
