Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) - .NET Fullstack

Key Responsibilities:

• L2/L3 Support & Multi-Project Triage: Support and own incident triage, root-cause analysis (RCA), log analysis, and defect resolution across multiple concurrent client projects, APIs, microservices, and Azure cloud infrastructure.

• .NET & Frontend Engineering: Maintain and enhance backend APIs and web applications built with .NET 8/7/6, C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React).

• AI-Assisted Development (AIED): Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate debugging, code refactoring, log analysis, automated testing, and RCA documentation.

• Performance Tuning & Observability: Optimize SQL Server queries, execution plans, indexing, and caching; monitor application health using App Insights, New Relic, or ELK.

• Cloud, DevOps & Containers: Support Azure services (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus), maintain Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and support Docker/Kubernetes container deployments.

• Operations, Security & Mentorship: Adhere to ITSM/SLA standards using Helpdesk tools, enforce OWASP security and OAuth 2.0 practices, maintain runbooks/SOPs, and mentor junior engineers.

What you need:

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• Experience & Support: 4 to 8 years in .NET development/L2-L3 support covering SLA management, incident triage, log analysis, RCA, and managing support across multiple parallel project workstreams.

• Core Tech Stack: C#, .NET 8/7/6, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React) with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Database Mastery: SQL Server/T-SQL expertise, including query tuning, indexing, stored procedures, and execution plan analysis.

• Architecture & Clean Code: Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and secure coding practices (OWASP, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).

• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), Git, Docker, and Kubernetes basics.

• Observability & AI Tools: Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms (App Insights, New Relic, ELK) and AI-assisted engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor).

• Soft Skills & Process: Excellent communication skills, active participation in Agile ceremonies, experience mentoring junior engineers, and readiness for US-aligned night shifts.

Good to Have

• Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event-driven architecture.

• Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or NoSQL (MongoDB).

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) and SRE deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary).

• Active Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications.
