As part of an expanding finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while helping strengthen and scale back-office functions in the Philippines. This is a full-time onsite position based in Metro Manila, working closely with both local and international stakeholders.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Accountant to support daily finance operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure accounting processes run smoothly across the business.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, compliance activities, and month-end processes. You'll work extensively within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and collaborate with stakeholders across different areas of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of transactional accounting, ERP-driven processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support payroll-related accounting activities
Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Maintain data integrity across accounting systems
ERP & Systems
Work extensively within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Process transactions, reconciliations, and reports within the ERP environment
Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies
Assist with system-related finance initiatives and enhancements
Compliance & Reporting
Assist with BAS and GST preparation and supporting schedules
Ensure accounting records are maintained in line with business requirements
Support financial reporting and compliance activities
Prepare documentation for internal and external review
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with operations and business teams to support financial activities
Monitor transactions, collections, and payment processes
Participate in regular team meetings and provide progress updates
Build effective relationships with local and offshore stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Essential
Experience in end-to-end accounting functions, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting
Experience using ERP systems
Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required
Experience in Australian accounting environments
Experience with BAS and GST requirements
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience working in product-based, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, or distribution businesses
Experience working across multiple business systems and platforms
