What you´ll do Territory will cover the western Canada region (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and Northwest territories) Travel up to 75%; preferred for candidate to reside within territory – no relocation allowance There may be occasional requirements to go outside this region. Position is tasked with increasing sales and market penetration in assigned geographic territory Develop customer relationships within assigned customers/territory, gaining an understanding of customer business requirements, and proactively developing solutions and programs to meet those needs Understanding decision making for valve technology and managing the bid process is critical Ability to work effectively with distributors, engineers and contractors installing valve solutions. Requires an ability to communicate a value proposition which is highly technical and value-added Requires a natural ability to connect and engage with key influencing personnel at the project level. Devise effective territory sales and implement marketing strategies Leverage Henkel’s defined sales process to build accounts and utilize the company’s CRM system for maintenance and development of prospects, customers, opportunities, quotes, and sales activities.
