Account Executive, Inbound & SMB

Discussion

Aescape is a New York-based company redefining human recovery through intelligent, precision bodywork, elevating it into a consistent, outcomes-driven practice. Powered by real-time body mapping, advanced robotics, and proprietary software, Aescape delivers deeply personalized bodywork that continuously adapts to the individual.

Aescape is building a new category called Adaptive Body Therapy. The system reads tension, works it, tracks what changed, and carries that into the next session. The company is transforming recovery across elite fitness, hospitality, and wellness destinations such as Equinox, Life Time, Marriott, Hilton, Pause Studios, and Remedy Place, with 100+ locations coast-to-coast. The company is supported by Valor Equity Partners, BroadLight Capital, and Mecha Ventures.

The Role

We're looking for an Account Executive, Inbound & SMB to play a critical role in our growing B2B sales organization. You'll join the Commercial team, which brings new partners to Aescape, educates the market on Intelligent Recovery, and supports those partners well past signature — co-creating a recovery experience inside their business. We move fast, own our numbers, and have fun doing it. We hire for an athletic mindset: take ownership, put in the daily reps, and get better session after session.

This is a hybrid sales role: you’ll own and close a book of SMB inbound opportunities while also qualifying higher-value opportunities and creating qualified meetings for our senior sales team. Approximately 80% of your time will be focused on warm inbound demand and SMB sales, with the remaining 20% focused on proactive outreach to targeted accounts and contacts. You’ll be one of the first salespeople prospects interact with, so we’re looking for someone who is highly responsive, commercially sharp, persistent, and comfortable moving quickly from lead → qualification → opportunity → close. For larger or more strategic opportunities, your job is to identify the opportunity, understand the prospect's needs, qualify it thoroughly, and tee it up for our Strategic Accounts Lead to take forward.

What You’ll Do

Own Inbound SMB Sales

  • Respond quickly to inbound leads generated through B2B marketing and other demand-generation channels.

  • Qualify inbound prospects and understand their needs, use cases, buying process, and potential value.

  • Run discovery calls and product conversations with SMB prospects.

  • Manage the sales process from initial conversation through close.

  • Own an SMB sales quota and consistently deliver against revenue targets.

  • Follow up relentlessly with prospects and move opportunities through the funnel.

  • Identify opportunities for expansion, upsell, or additional use cases where appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity in the CRM.

Quantify Larger Opportunities

  • Identify high-value, strategic, or complex opportunities within inbound leads and account lists.

  • Conduct thoughtful initial discovery to understand company needs, stakeholders, timing, budget, and potential deal size.

  • Determine whether an opportunity meets the criteria for senior sales involvement.

  • Create high-quality, well-qualified meetings for the senior sales team.

  • Provide thorough context and relevant information before handing opportunities over to the senior sales team.

  • Continue to support the opportunity as needed to ensure a smooth transition.

Targeted Outbound

  • Work targeted lead and contact lists to identify additional opportunities within our ICP.

  • Conduct personalized outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

  • Prioritize accounts based on fit, intent, and potential revenue.

  • Follow up with prospects who have previously engaged with our brand, content, or marketing.

  • Experiment with messaging and outreach strategies to improve response and conversion rates.

Partner with Marketing

  • Work closely with B2B Marketing to maximize the value of inbound demand.

  • Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging, campaigns, and prospect objections.

  • Quickly follow up on marketing-generated leads and ensure strong lead-to-opportunity conversion.

  • Help identify which industries, company profiles, campaigns, and use cases are generating the strongest opportunities.

Build the Sales Engine

  • Maintain clean and accurate CRM data.

  • Track lead response, conversion, pipeline, and revenue performance.

  • Identify bottlenecks in the inbound sales process and recommend improvements.

  • Help develop repeatable qualification, discovery, follow-up, and SMB sales processes.

  • Share customer and market insights with the broader sales and marketing teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, SMB sales, account executive, BDR/SDR, or a similar role.

  • Proven ability to close business, not just book meetings.

  • Experience managing inbound leads and converting them into revenue.

  • Strong discovery and qualification skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Highly responsive, organized, and disciplined with follow-up.

  • Comfortable working toward a revenue quota.

  • Strong CRM and sales-process discipline.

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively working lead lists.

  • Ability to recognize when an opportunity is larger or more strategic than the typical SMB sale.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to operate without a highly structured playbook.

Key Performance Indicators (First 12 months)

  • Quota Attainment: Percentage of assigned SMB sales quota achieved

  • Pipeline Generation: Qualified sales pipeline generated, maintained, and progressed through the sales funnel.
